The Music and Worship Ministry of First Baptist Church has the unique privilege of leading our congregation into the presence of the Lord through praise and worship. God has placed within each of us a desire to praise our Creator and we are diligently committed to exalting the Savior, evangelizing the lost, and equipping the saved through every aspect of our music ministry. Our goal is to provide a positive experience that promotes spiritual and musical growth for each member of First Baptist Church.
First Family Choir
First Family Orchestra
Leading in worship is the primary function of our First Family Choir. The choir is joined by our orchestra almost every week as we sing selections in almost every music style from Classical to Contemporary. The First Family Choir rehearsal is Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
The First Family Orchestra plays for both the 8:30 a.m and 11:00 a.m. worship services in our main auditorium. The orchestra rehearsal is on Wednesday from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Main Building, Lower Level.
First Family Ensemble
Children's Choir
The mixed ensemble meets on Sunday at 4:40pm in the lower level of the Main Building. Members are chosen from the First Family Choir
Children's Choir is for children in PreK through 6th grade. They meet September through April with INTERSTATE Kids and have fun worshipping God through music.
First Family Ringers
Soloist
The First Family Ringers rehearsal is Wednesday, 5:30 PM in main building lower level. Please contact the Music Office if you would like to ring with the ensemble.
